Despite popular demand, death threats and a sternly worded letter to the Times, Rick will be MCing the best comedy night in Hetfordshire now and again over the next few months.
The Doctor's Tonic pub hosts 'Laughter's The Best Tonic' on the first Thursday of every month. There's always an eclectic mix of local and national talent providing a cracking night of comedy. This gig is rapidly becoming an established venue on the circuit!
There are frequent guest MCs - including the night's promoter, top stand-up Jonathan Prince - and around 7 acts per night on average. Headliners from 'Mock the Week',
'8 Out Of 10 Cats', and Never Mind The Buzzcocks have appeared over the past few months.
Door price varies depending on headliners / 'specials', but generally a fiver.
Doors open at 8pm for a prompt 8.30pm start. Arrive early to get a seat!
